New Super Luigi U Playthrough Part 7
In this part, we complete Meringue Clouds. These are the stages shown in this part: Meringue Clouds-1: Frozen Fuzzies: This stage has you freezing Fuzzies and using them as platforms to progress. Star Coin #1: You will see a cloud near the bottom of the screen. Jump into it to find the first Coin. Star Coin #2: Freeze a Fuzzy, then ride it to this Coin. Star Coin #3: On the platform with a row of Coins and an Ice Bro, jump on the Ice Bro, then Ground Pound to find the last Coin. Meringue Clouds-2: Wiggler Rodeo: This stage contains plenty of Wigglers and Chain Chomps for you to deal with. Star Coin #1: Bounce off a Wiggler and grab this Coin. Star Coin #2: Use Flying Squirrel Luigi to fly up and grab this Coin, or jump on the Munchers and take a hit to get it. Star Coin #3: Glide to this Coin as Flying Squirrel Luigi. Meringue Clouds-3: Rainbow Skywalk: This stage contains a bunch of Bullet Bills, and yes, it's pretty colorful. Star Coin #1: While going up the long path with Bullet Bills, stay on the platform to go up to the Coin. Star Coin #2: Enter the wall with a little gap to find this Coin. Star Coin #3: When you grab the Blue Ring, stand on the platform at all times. DO NOT JUMP. When you get to the top, get to the Coin before the Blocks reappear. Meringue Clouds-Tower: Stonecrush Tower: This stage isn't actually too bad. Many moving stones and Fire Bros. are here. Kamek is fought here. Star Coin #1: As soon as the level starts, run to the right with the Fire Bro, then wait for the stone to raise to find the Coin. Star Coin #2: You'll see this Coin when the stones move. Quickly grab it, then get up. Star Coin #3: Near the red door is another Fire Bro. Kill it, then run into the wall fort the last Coin. Meringue Clouds-Ghost House: Vanishing Ghost House: This stage has Blocks that try to attack, along with the floor slowly disappearing. Star Coin #1: Jump up to this Coin while avoiding the Blocks. Star Coin #2: Jump up to this Coin when the Blocks are out of the way. Star Coin #3: Enter the wall with the gap near the door to find the last Coin. Secret Exit: Drop down to a lone door on a platform (Flying Squirrel Luigi makes this easier) then enter it to find the exit. Meringue Clouds-4: Above the Bouncy Clouds: This stage has a bunch of bouncy clouds for you to jump around on. Star Coin #1: Use a shell to grab this Coin. Use the Red Koopa Troopa in the beginning. Star Coin #2: Wall Jump up the Pipes between this Coin to safely grab it. Star Coin #3: Bounce into this Coin when it comes up. Meringue Clouds-5: Flame Chomp Ferris Wheel: This stage has many Fire Chomps and moving platforms. The Fire Chomps can be quite dangerous. Star Coin #1: Just ride a platform down to this Coin. Star Coin #2: Ride to this Coin. As soon as you grab it, jump away from the Super Piranha Plant. Star Coin #3: Either do a running jump with spins from a platform or bounce off a Fire Chomp to get this last Coin, which is by the Flagpole. Meringue Clouds-6: Three-Headed Snake Block: This stage can be tricky at first. You just need to ride three Snake Blocks to the goal. Star Coin #1: Take the bottom path to get this first Coin. Star Coin #2: This one is hidden in a cloud. Jump and grab it. Star Coin #3: This one is right after the second Coin. Either take the middle Snake Blocks or use Flying Squirrel Luigi to grab it. Meringue Clouds-Castle: Ludwig's Block-Press Castle: This stage can be tough at first. It has giant blocks that will push Luigi back after a while. They can even crush him. Ludwig von Koopa is fought here. He fights like he did in New Super Mario Bros. U. Star Coin #1: With the first wall, jump over it with the empty space in the ceiling, then run to the first Coin and grab it. Just don't get hit by the Firebar. Star Coin #2: When the wall is retracting, run up and left to the Coin, then keep Wall Jumping in the hidden space to avoid being crushed. Star Coin #3: With Ice Luigi, toss a frozen Dry Bones at this Coin. That, or do a tricky Wall Jump. Meringue Clouds-Airship: Bowser Jr. Showdown: This stage has you avoiding the mechanical claw, along with getting on the ship itself and fighting Bowser Jr. again. Star Coin #1: Use a Bob-omb to break the Blocks guarding this Coin, then grab it. Star Coin #2: A cloud is blocking this one. Jump into the cloud and grab it. Star Coin #3: In the Airship section, jump up when near the sign pointing right to find the last Coin.
