1 Cup Wild Rice 1/2 Cup Dried Cranberries 2 Cups Bone Broth 2 Cups Apple Juice 1/4 tsp. each of Oregano, Thyme, Black Pepper 2 Tbsp. Sunflower Oil (1 T. for cooking rice, 1 T. for sauteeing apples) 1 Small Granny Smith Apple, peeled, cored, and diced 3 Cloves Minced Garlic 1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans Instructions 1. Combine wild rice, cranberries, bone broth, apple juice, thyme, oregano, black pepper, and 1 T. sunflower oil in medium pot and simmer on medium-low heat until liquid is gone (about 55 minutes). 2. Peel, core, and dice apple and set aside 3. Chop pecans 4. Add 1 T. sunflower oil to frying pan. Add apple chunks, pecans, and minced garlic. Cook for 5 minutes or until soft. 5. Add wild rice mixture and stir to mix evenly. 6. Serve warm. Enjoy!
