Wilcox Football: Chargers vs Pioneer Mustangs | Levi's Stadium Friday Night Lights

GetSportsFocus is presented by: Dr. Arthur J. Ting, MD - Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Surgery by: Kaleigh Krish Wilcox Blows Past Pioneer in a 52-6 Victory In the first of three games at Levi’s Stadium for the second annual Friday Night Lights, the Wilcox Chargers scored early and often against the Pioneer Mustangs. Right out the gate, Wilcox’s Daniel Pulido blocks a Pioneer punt while Thomas Odonald recovers it. Wilcox takes advantage as Eduardo Andrade hands it off to Manu Turituri who takes it 32-yards for the first touchdown of the game. A blocked field goal attempt would make it 6-0. Wilcox had a motto to score early and that they did, Andrade would find Turituri again and this time he would take it 65-yards for the touchdown. The two-point conversion is good making it 14-0. Manu Turituri would have nine carries for 176-yards and three touchdowns in the first half alone. The quarterback Eduardo Andrade would have his own touchdown for 30-yards and Richard Herrera would get on the board as well with a 32-yard TD in the second half. Pioneer would get their first touchdown of the season late in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Louie Coulombe would keep the ball and sneak into the end zone for the score. Wilcox improves their record to 2-0 by defeating the Pioneer Mustangs 52-6. Next week the Chargers will host San Benito.
