Beautiful rebuilt ALCo freight locomotive: WDG3A 14756R of DLS New Guwahati (NGC) powers a High Capacity Parcel Van (HCPV) rake towards Lumding Jn, captured near Tetelia, Assam. Due to very escalated progress in the railway electrification works, the diesel locomotives, specially the ALCo variant locomotives are grounded all of a sudden. So, it is now very rare to see them working in the mainline and that too with a heavily loaded freight train as, as of now the GE locomotives have outnumbered the presence of EMD locomotives across Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR).
