Lili Rochefort from Tekken Tag Tournament 2 | DIY Cosplay Days
In my last video it was the teaser for my latest cosplay (and debuted really on Valentine's Day. ) I filmed this cosplay instead of the dare one. I wanted to hit back on my roots and that is crafting cosplays.. Don't worry I will still film a video for the Valentine's Day comments. Note about this cosplay: I am a huge fan of Tekken. I have almost every game that has Tekken characters. I was always a fan of Nina, then 3 came out with Ling Xiayou. She was my favorite then Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection came out with Lili and I DIED. I was pretty sad that North America did not receive the lilac PSP with Tekken so I had to opt for the Hannah Montana failure but still played Tekken on it. I have wanted to cosplay this outfit as soon as Kotobukiya announced it. I don't remember if it was an ingame costume or not but I WANTED IT IN REAL LIFE. At the time (ages ago) I didn't think I had the skills to accurately pull this costume off. Well.. what do you think? Did I do a good job of recreating this costume? I am so sorry that I'm missing footage. If you have questions about armbands, ascot or the pin let me know! I'll be more than happy to answer any questions or create a second tutorial for this. I used up the rest of the materials from my last cosplay: Mima Kirigoe. I used a bit of red for the ascot, and the entire amount of pink I bought for the costume a long time ago. I used an old fabric from Joanns for the boots. I regret this fabric but it didn't let me down. I want to fight against fabric waste. That's my goal with these costumes that I try to only use what I own. I ended up using three zippers, 5 snaps, and 6 buttons. I used a quarter of a yard of thick red ribbon for the top... I found a button on the ground a long time ago and I reused it for the pin backing. I created the pin from cardboard scraps from a box. I used a button for the red gem, and based it around that. I used black and silver nail polish for my paint. For the red checker fabric I created my own pattern using a 1.5 difference and fabric markers. Yes I have those too.
