Time to go Fast - Drone Racing

After over a year of struggling to have quads that work reliably, I am getting close to perfecting my setup. After the last race day 6 months ago, when I got last because my quads couldn't last a lap without something going wrong, I have spent many hours rebuilding my quads and hundreds of hours in velocidrone. This was the first time I have been able to practice racing without quad issues, and I felt that I improved heaps in the five packs that I flew. There's lots of room for improvement, with better and more consistent lines, and getting more confident with the throttle, but I am finally happy with my progress in drone racing. With my quad issues (hopefully) far behind me, it's finally time to go fast. --- My Race Setup --- Frame: B-Line Sendstorm Lite. Motors: Team Old Mate 2207 1900KV Fast Yet Affordable Series. Flight Controller: Foxeer F722 v2 Mini Pro (20x20). ESC: Hobbywing XRotor Micro 40a 4in1 (20x20). Camera: Foxeer Predator Nano v5 vTX: ImmersionRC Hybrid v2 duo. RX: ImmersionRC Hybrid v2 duo. --- My Freestyle Setup --- Frame: TBS Source 1 v4. Motors: Old eachine wizard motors (I don't recommend these and will probably replace them with something better at some point). Flight Controller: Foxeer F722 v2 (30x30). ESC: Hobbywing XRotor Micro 60a 4in1 (30x30). Camera: Runcam Micro Swift 3 (not the best camera out there, but it does the job for now) vTX: ImmersionRC Tramp Nano or Hybrid v2 duo. RX: ImmersionRC Ghost Atto or Hybrid v2 duo. HD Camera: Runcam 5 Orange ---- Everything Else --- Props: Gemfan Hurricane 51466. Batteries: bigdaddyFPV 1300 mah v2 6s 100c I was pretty conservative with the batteries to keep them in good condition so they don't die on me next race day. TX: Radiomaster TX16s.
