I didn't plan or save for the expense 2. I wanted or needed to get something ASAP and didn't have the funds at the time. Now that I use cash envelopes I have been able to save up for holidays, birthdays, oil changes, car maintenance and any other expenses that come up throughout the years. Why use Cash, why not keep it in the bank? Well I have learned that if I have money in the bank, I will spend it and not particularly on things that it was intended for lol. I been budgeting and using cash envelopes since 2017. I Finally had the courage to make a YouTube channel and share my love for budgeting with the world, making new friends with my fellow budget lovers and have a way to track my financial journey. No matter where you are in life you can always strive to accomplish your goals. No one's budget is the same. Don't be too hard on yourself when budgeting. Remember we all have started from somewhere, as long as we tackle it in our own ways and techniques, have fun with it and just get it done, we are all winning.
