Sekiro - Shume Masaji Oniwa [Bestowal] (no damage)

Really quick method that mostly relies on R1 spam, definitely easier than taking them both on like my other attempt (   • Sekiro - Shume Masaji Oniwa & Samurai Gene...  ). Equip the Bestowal Ninjutsu skill, use a Gachiin's Sugar / Spiritfall and sneak behind the Samurai General. Deathblow him and trigger Bestowal, and then just keep mashing the attack button against the Ashina Spear. You'll interrupt the majority of his attacks when Bestowal is active, but if you see him spin his spear around, jump-kick him to avoid it and continue attacking. You could deflect it, but the recovery takes more time. During the second phase, you'll lose Bestowal and will need to watch out for his counter-attacks, where the general strategy will be to attack 3 times, deflect and repeat. If you really want to replenish Bestowal, you could always backstab the rifleman who sits near the tree branch on the cliff, but you risk getting hit by the Ashina Spear.
