Hymn of Cassia arranged for four violins
Linnaea Brophy, Violinist and Arranger Recorded remotely in Little Rock in May of 2020 with the Acapella app ------ St. Cassia was an nun and composer who lived during the 9th century, generally she is considered to be the first known female composer. Few of her works survive other than this one hauntingly sad hymn.
