KZN Sardine Run Basic information According to uShaka Sea World lead aquarist, Rob Kyle, there are still large volumes of sardines off the KZN coast from Port Edward right through to Ballito and even as far north as St Lucia. As you can see from the video, we have already experienced a good sardine run in terms of inshore activity along the KZN coastline this year, and it is highly likely that there will be more netting opportunities to come. However, as we well know, these little silvery fish can disappear as fast as they arrive, and it is impossible to accurately predict from day to day what is going to happen.
