Every Breath You Take - the Police Expert (All Instruments) Rock Band 3 DLC

/ thelisoncruz   So this week was pretty interesting. Spill the Wine I didn't really pay much notice to at first but the dual flute solos make it an auto win in my book. That shit's awesome. Guitar and bass are incredibly sleep inducing though (it's a wonder this wasn't the song they chose for pro guitar/bass!), and the lack of harmonies and over abundance of talkies make this only an okay pick for vocals. I'd only recommend it if you play keys or maybe drums. So Lonely. So ronery. AOGH where, imo, is much better. Except for vocals I guess. SO LONELY SO LONELY SO LONELY SENDIN' OUT AN SOS SENDIN OUT AN SOS SENDIN OUT AN SOS MAGIC MAGIC MAGIC YOU DUN GATTA PUDDOUT DEH RED LIGHT IJSJCFNSIOCJKMN V. This is slightly awkward on guitar and really just a basic strumfest. It has an alright solo, but eh. Drums are the typical Copeland drums, which isn't a bad thing, but you should be accustomed to it by now and the bass is kind of fast paced. Vocals on a Police song. Need I say more? Although I was kind of disheartened to see they charted Sting's vocals to the harmonies (which made sense I guess, it's just be nice to sing something that's not SO LONELY SO LONELY when there are other parts during that same spot, just a minor thing though). Needs more Splync covers. Every Breath You Take. Oh THAT song. But I already knew it before. Not too bad, it's a slow song so I guess you have that and it's kind of fun to sing. The harmonies aren't anything amazing though, but it's still fun. Guitar is basically the same thing over and over and over and over and over (oh look, I just basically wrote a Police song) with a couple of chord changes near the end but then it does that for about a minute. Keys are pretty simple as is the bass. Drums are eh. I'd only recommend this if you like the song pretty much. Shooting the Moon. I saw OK Go as the title to several topics regarding the early leaked songs and I was like FUCK YES (because I really like OK Go, the TP in GH, as well as the song of theirs in Band Hero is the only band that I've one-man-band'd all songs with the music video in the back) but then I saw THIS song. The song off Twilight =/ And then I listened to it and I was like fuuuuuck. Just like everyone else who wanted more OK Go in RB. But playing it, wow this is a whole different story. I kind of really dig this song. And I really like the solo. AND the fact they decided to NOT use the Twilight album art. Thank god. From an unbiased perspective it'd almost be difficult to honestly recommend this, but really, before buying this I would be confident to say that this would be the last song I'd ever put in RB/GH from (that utilized all five instruments of course) but ah. Sure it's pretty slow in the beginning and the harmonies are the typical OK Go harmonies but I really like the solo and the keys look pretty cool too. I hate how much of a sucker I am for OK Go, I swear to god.
