Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a replacement shank for Curt Adjustable ball mount. This replaces the adjustable shank for your Curt adjustable tri-ball mount, part number D900 or the Curt Adjustable Clevis and Pintle Hook combo, part number C45008. This simply slides into a two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver, and it secures in place with a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock. Those items are sold separately and available at etrailer.com. The pinholes on this unit will accept a standard 5/8th inch diameter pin. It's made from a durable solid steel construction. So you'll notice that we have a solid shank on the back, it's not hollow, and it has a nice black pattern-coated finish on the unit, so you resist rust and corrosion. Now, it can be used in either the drop or rise positions, whatever works best for your application. A few measurements I'm going to go over with you real quick. I took a measurement from the very front of the unit to the very back of the unit, and when doing that, I got a measurement of . 12 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the adjustment holes measured 8 and 3/8ths inches. The actual adjustment bar, so that's measuring basically from the top right here to the bottom, this portion right here measures 9 inches long. The adjustment holes are separated on center by an inch and a quarter, and there's one, two, three, four, five, six of those. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement shank for Curt Adjustable ball mounts..
