Sean Hannity did not hold back when challenging Democratic Congressman Luis Gutierrez (IL) over ObamaCare tonight on his show. On Tuesday, the United States shut down as a consequence of the fight in Congress to delay the law. In a rejected version of the funding bill, House Republicans added an amendment that would put federal workers on the same playing field as every other American. But Gutierrez denied that he receives special health care treatment. "I pay like any other person. I don't get it for free." "Congressman, you know that's not true." Hannity challenged. "You're getting 72 percent subsidy that the rest of America's not getting. That's a special gift perk you gave yourselves." Gutierrez said it's clear that Republicans don't want health care. He pressed Congress to pass a clean continuing resolution to fund the government. Seeking an answer for his original question, Hannity asked the congressman again about the special subsidy. "Why do you think you're above the American people?" He answered, "I want to make sure that everybody else in my congressional district has the same access to quality health care that their member of Congress has." "No you don't!" Hannity fired back. "72 percent of it's paid! Why do I have to educate a lawmaker on your law that you passed!" "Sean, I'm so sorry that you are so misinformed. I get what other federal employees get," Gutierrez maintained. Hannity repeatedly questioned why big business gets a one-year exemption from ObamaCare, but individuals do not. After a back-and-forth, Gutierrez responded, "I think that Obama is very, very considerate. [...] You're going to have to have an official of the Obama administration explain to you why it is they do the things they do on particular matters." Hannity replied, "Hell will freeze over."
