Berger Chevrolet (The Grand Rapids MI Muscle Car Dealer of the 60’s) Sponsored building this performance/show car Dubbed “project DZ-74” inspired by the original IROC series Race cars that began in 1974 for the original owner. 1st shown at the Grand Rapids Auto Rama January 2009. The car has been a trailer queen since and only been driven about 2,000 miles. Exterior: Berger Chevrolet prepared the Z/28’ Type LT Rust-free body. They smoothed it out and grafted a functional ’80 cowl scoop onto the ’74 hood. Painted in its original midnight blue with multi-color accent stripes. The car is Laser straight and glossy top to bottom. Up front it has the removable IROC spoiler and Marchel headlights. A set of 17-inch polished Team III Minilite wheels dress it up. 8-inch-wide in front, 9 inch in back with performance tires.
