GOANNA - SOLID ROCK Drum Cover

GOANNA - SOLID ROCK Drum Cover

This is one of those songs that when you think of Australia...this song comes to mind. A very controversial song in its day (1982), as it depicts the time when white man settled Australia. Regardless of the meaning behind the song, Goanna was one of the very first rock bands to use a Didgeridoo in their music, which was in a small part responsible for this song being a massive hit for them...pity it was pretty much their one & only! This is a very busy song which kept me on my toes throughout, as you can see with the amount of concentration on my face. Not too difficult to play but trying hard to keep the groove flowing!! **NOTE for all of my international friends...The band 'Goanna' is named after a very large & vicious Australian reptile. Think Komodo Dragon & you'll have a rough idea!!!
