Mario Party Boardathon #3 - Goomba's Booty Boardwalk - Mario Party 8 | Skipping Many Spaces
★Season 1 - Episode 3★ Unintentionally we did another Goomba themed board after we did another one from the previous episode of the Mario Party Boardathon series. Today we head to the first ever Mario Party game on the Wii era, Mario Party 8! The game is known for its heavy gimmicks for the usage of the censor bar, motion controls, and for some reason the game running in a 4:3 aspect ratio during gameplay. In Goomba's Booty Boardwalk, it's a linear board and our goal is to get to the end of the board to receive treasure from Captain Goomba which is a Star. Unlike other boards, this Star here is free with no coins at any cost. Funny enough, we forgot that the Stars here is free at first, so our apologies for not riding the dolphins any sooner lol. Who will be the Superstar in this episode? Find out! Also this is the first ever Mario Party Boardathon episode where we're doing a game locally in person instead of playing it online through Parsec on a Discord Call. For a game that's motion control heavy like Mario Party 8, it'll be hard to implement button controls through Dolphin Emulator. So while I was over at Jack's house, we've managed to pre-record some Mario Party Boardathon episodes that'll work better locally than through Parsec.
