The W The Palm, is located on Jumeirah Beach and just south of downtown Dubai by about a 20-30 minute drive. This Dubai luxury hotel overlooks Palm Jumeriah from one side and the Arabian Gulf on the other. Rating: 5/5 - Room (was it clean and comfortable) 4.5/5 - Inspiration: (how wowed was I by the exterior, lobby, room, and view) 5/5 - Service (how friendly was the staff across all departments) 5/5 - Value (how much do I personally value the product and how likely I am to return) Josh’s Score: 19.5/20 =97.5% - Excellent! Pros: -Great customer service -Property has several pools at WET Deck -Several different restaurants and bars on the property with fantastic views -Balcony views of the city/ Palm Jumeriah or Arabian Gulf -Some rooms offer views of the Downtown Dubai Skyline -On the man-made Palm Jumeirah, so close to Nakheel Mall, Atlantis Water Park,The View At The Palm, and Aurora Skypool Cons: -Rooms are a bit dark/ not well lit -The bathroom wall separating the room was slightly transparent and there were no bathroom doors. Pricing: The average nightly price for a standard room: $245-$500 The average number of Marriott Bonvoy points required per night: 54,000- 74,000 I recommend using cash to stay at this property as long as the rate is under around $400 due to its lower price point. During peak times like December and January, when the rate is higher, I recommend using points as rates can spike up to over $500 and even higher per night.
