Trump: US will receive 50M barrels of Venezuelan oil under new deal | Elizabeth Vargas Reports

President Trump announced Venezuela’s interim authorities will transfer 30 to 50 million barrels of sanctioned oil to the United States, which will then be sold at market price. Trump said he will personally control the proceeds “to ensure it is used to benefit the people of Venezuela and the United States,” and directed Energy Secretary Chris Wright to execute the plan immediately.
