SUCCUBUS aka NECRONOMICON [1968, Jesus "Jess" Franco] I decided to go back and finally fill in the "lost" 128th BR episode, after my unforeseen copyright strike for the original 128th segment led to it being forever pulled by the powers that be, causing me to repurpose its material for episode 129. So, here 'tis, a lengthy tour through the rabbit hole re: Jess Franco's legendary SUCCUBUS and its "lost" complete cut called NECRONOMICON - including the digressions and anecdotes that you've come to expect - or dread - from this channel. This one covers a lot of ground, and I even experimented with opening titles and audio. I also created a spiffy collage graphic for the thumbnail - something I've done only once before on BR, but it was far more minimalistic than this one (for the record, it was the BURY ME AN ANGEL thumbnail that I previously concocted). If it all comes off as excessive, my apologies. In my defense, I was enjoying quite a few cocktails. WARNING: SPOILERS GALORE !!!!
