The Sacramento City Unified School District Board approved a vaccine mandate for students 12 years and older, and staff, in mid-October. The deadline to show proof of vaccination is Tuesday. SCUSD is so far the only district in the region to enact a mandate ahead of the state's requirement, aimed at beginning in mid-2022.
