It's a world away from their old Contrast Detect AF in terms of speed and accuracy, so in this video I wanted to go through the different AF settings found on the Lumix S5ii and Panasonic Lumix S5iix so you can better understand what each setting does and how it will affect your overall autofocus performance. I recently tested the Lumic S5ii Autofocus against the Sony A74, and it performs surprisingly well when compared to the best in class, and that means that you can dial it in to behave how you'd like it to.
