I just had the absolute worst experience with this level. I really don't understand why people love this level and praise its gameplay; for me, the only great thing about this level is the decoration, nothing else. The gameplay itself feels clunky and it's actually not very sightreadable (but that's not the problem). With all honesty, this gameplay doesn't feel playtested AT ALL. I say this mainly because the level itself is very "easy" but has some stupid random chokepoints that I can't understand how they published the level with those segements of gameplay??? Let me take you on a quick ride through the level: 0-5% (first cube) This cube is really easy, it only has basic timings nothing much to say here besides the first 4% blue orb click with a pink pad below that doesn't work as intended I guess????. Anyways, pretty standard part. 6-12% (slope UFO & ball) The UFO has very clunky gameplay but at least you get the hang of it pretty easily. The ball part is very easy but everytime I played the level while recording this part lagged hard so yeah, optimization :) 12-24% (buildup) The first cube is very easy except for the 14% blue orb wich is a kinda random click (used to die every now and then here). The ship that follows is also easy once you learn to actually see the spikes lmao. The final cube before the drop has a not so good first blue orb click that ruins your expectation for the drop. 25-42% (first drop part/duals) This is the part that actually makes the level hard, it's just some weird dual gameplay that takes a while to get consistent at. The good part about this is that once you learn it you can get over it almost every attempt you reach it. The bad part is that you can't do that because there are some random chokepoints that don't make sense at all (first three clicks can be chokeable; 30% wave's first click cause below there's an abnormally tight UFO gap for this level; 35% wave feels just like a joke, it's one of the only 2 parts I died at in my last 500 attempts of playing the level, aka random difficulty spike) 42-60% (mid-level cube) THIS PART, jeez it's bad. It has very weird gameplay (it combines holding clicks, buffer clicks, and clicks with timing constantly wich is very hard at first but gets SUPER consistent at last). The absolute garbage part about this is the 56% random slope click. I swear this click was basically playing russian roulette mid-level, sometimes you go through, sometimes you die (it basically has a very small frame window to nail the jump, if you jump early you don't reach the blue orb, if you jump later you hate the spikes above you, so yeah great click :D). 60-100% (second drop part) This part is 40% of the level and it's the most free part in the whole level if it weren't again some random chokepoints: 68% blue orb and subsequent ball click can be very chokeable; 82% wave is again, a random difficuly spike (with these things I mean that they aren't super hard but they are much harder than the overall difficuly of the level); 85% yellow gravity portal UFO click, it's always a close call with the little spike above ur head by the end of the jump, very chokeable also; and here we go, the most awful combination of clicks this level has ever seen: 91% (these are three clicks that go as this, ignoring the first blue orb: if you hit the first click early you can buffer the next blue orb and click for an easy pass, but for this you need to get really close to the spike below you; if you hit the first click late which is the norm overall, you have to hit the blue orb with timing and buffer as much as possible the next click and hope you didn't hit the blue orb too late, because yeah if you fail to do this you die :D). The last 8% of the level at least is very flukeable. So yeah if you read that thank you I guess idk (I don't quite like this level you guessed it) Enjoyment: 3/10 Attempts: 3055 Worst deaths: x2 82%, x2 83%, 85%, 89%, x3 91% Contact me through discord: Bernie Sanders with gloves#1927 #geometrydash
