NFS: Unbound: BMW M3 GTR Delivery Mission

So even though this mission is really cool because you have to deliver one of the most famous cars of the racing game community, there's something I don't understand about it. In need for speed: Heat (2019), Luteninant Mercer used this M3 GTR to escape the cops IN PALM CITY after you complete the mission to stop him from escaping , he crashes the car, spins out, and get's shot and killed. then, in Need for speed: Unbound (2022), the m3 somehow shows up in LAKESHORE CITY in mint condition. so what i don't get is that how could it of gotten from a random corner in palm city (probably inspired by Miami Florida), to Lakeshore city (Probably based on Chicago Illinois or NYC) if no one used it since? #wewantnfs
