This video guitar lesson demonstrates a cool technique used by Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani, George Lynch and many others. It involves combining legato playing with random harmonics to create a very cool musical effect. The concept is quite simple to understand and shouldn't be very difficult to add to your playing quickly. A high gain tone will help increase the volume of the harmonics substantially, therefore making the lick a bit easier to play as well.
