First, let me say that for the money this is a great little plane. However, there are some flaws with it as well!!! The biggest, also the reason for the crash (other than me) is the lack of a decent wing spar. The wooden ones are inadequate at best. Also, there is nowhere to put the servo & motor wires. The foam is so thin that I dare not chisel some out to hide them. So it looks a bit untidy under the wing. I suppose that does not matter too much once its in the air. I used a brand new (first flight) Turnigy A Spec 2200mah 3S 65-130C battery as far up the battery bay as possible & a still think that it was a little tail heavy, so the claim that you can go from a 1000-2200 3S seems a bit off. I will do a quick video later of the crash damage. There are a couple punctures to the hull (she may never be able to go on the water, not too bad!!!) & the wing spar had snapped & taken a load of foam from round the screw mounts. There are various dents in it, but not too bad considering it hit a tree & was out in a thunder storm!!! A big thanks goes out to my wing man Syd, who rushed home to get his fishing pole and then helped me get it out of the tree!!! Without his help, it would still be there & all the electrics would be toast!!! I will repair it tonight or tomorrow & hope to have it back in the air tomorrow with a 4mm 1000mm long solid carbon rod in the wings!!! Once bitten & all that!!! Thanks for watching!!!
