Heavily depleted by injuries (missing Purdy, Kittle, Bosa, and 3 top WRs), the San Francisco 49ers pulled off a major upset, defeating the Los Angeles Rams (3-1) 26-23 in overtime (OT). Backup QB Mac Jones threw for 342 yards and 2 TDs in a gritty performance. The victory was sealed when the 49ers' defense stuffed Kyren Williams' fourth-and-1 run in OT.
