Epstein row: Pam Bondi reacts to subpoena, says ‘will follow the law’ as Democrats stage walkout

Attorney General Pam Bondi was subpoenaed Tuesday by Congress to answer questions about the Justice Department's investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and the agency's handling of files related to the late convicted sex offender. House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) formally issued the subpoena, ordering Bondi to appear for a deposition on April 14. House Democrats walked out of a closed-door hearing with Attorney General Pam Bondi Wednesday while she was briefing lawmakers on the Epstein files a day after being subpoenaed to testify in mid-April.
