Doctor tells the TRUTH about cracking your joints! | neck, back, knuckles

💢𝐈𝐒 𝐂𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐀𝐃⁣⁣💢 ⁣⁣ This one may get a little heat, but I am giving you my unbiased professional opinion! Despite the common misconception that "popping" your joints will give you arthritis, there is no evidence suggesting anything of the sort. This is simply not true. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐍𝐎𝗪 don't hear what I am not saying. Is it possible to hurt yourself cracking your own neck? Yes. Does it always feels good when it pops? No. ⁣Is there times that you shouldn't pop your neck/back? Yes. ⁣ ⁣⁣ The list can go on and on. In general, if you pop your neck, back, knuckles, elbow, etc... and it feels better? Then go for it! 𝐁𝐔𝐓 this can be a sign of potential disfunction that need 𝘔𝘐𝘎𝘏𝘛 need to be addressed if it becomes problematic or painful. ⁣ ⁣ As a chiropractor, before adjusting anyone I am trained to perform a thorough evaluation of the joint to make sure there are no 𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐅𝐋𝐀𝐆𝐒 (reasons I should not adjust). In my experience, 98% of the time no red flags are found... but I'd rather not roll the dice with my patients health. A quick exam is worth catching that 2%. ________________________________________________⁣⁣ ...⁣⁣ 👀 Looking for multidisciplinary Sports Medicine clinic in South Jersey???⁣⁣ ...⁣⁣ ✅ Go check out Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine.
