The Warriors - Rockstar's Overlooked Gem Oh man I love this title screen, the music that’s playing combined with the ferris wheel, it creates such an eerie feeling. This game is the farthest thing from a horror game, but it just gives me goosebumps. When it comes to Rockstar’s extensive catalog of games, The Warriors and Manhunt, are the two that I have the least familiarity with. Rather fitting I’m covering both back to back. The Warriors, the game, is an adaptation of the 1979 movie with the same name, which itself was adapted from a book by Sol Yurick. The movie is set in a slightly worse version of 1970s New York, where poverty is high, crime is rampant, and rival gangs with weird motifs fight each other for control of the streets.
