Ark of the Covenant Updated kit Video instructions. This is part 2 of 2. Starting with the resin cast components, this tutorial guides you through trimming and assembling the parts. There are several ways to finish your surface: regular gold paint, gold foiling, graphite powder, vacuum metalizing, spectrachrome, alclad, etc.. This video shows you how I did it using regular paint equipment and an $18 paint gun from harbor freight. The steps are: 1.) automotive black paint 2.) 2k top coat 3.) mid-coat of ALUMALUSTER 4.) 2K top coat tinted with california gold candy coat.
