Ukrainian forces claim to have shot down a Russian Su-25 warplane near Maryinka, Donetsk region. Russia claims it intercepted two HIMARS rockets and destroyed 11 Ukrainian drones over the past day. The US secretary of state has said that Ukraine will launch its counteroffensive against Russia “in the coming weeks.” Slovakia’s defence minister alleged Russian technicians may have sabotaged the MiG fighter jets it supplied to Kyiv.
