Allendale Elementary Schoolyard Build | Eat. Learn. Play.

We kicked off our first schoolyard build of the year at Oakland’s Allendale Elementary where we joined together with KABOOM!, Oakland Unified School District, and an amazing team of volunteers to install a new play structure, school garden, multi-sport court, and murals! This new kid-designed play space was made possible through generous support from The Bhusri Family. This year, Eat. Learn. Play. is remodeling six schoolyards at Oakland public school campuses to ensure students have safe and high-quality schoolyards where they can learn, play, and be active. Each schoolyard will include kid-designed play structures and multi-sport courts where students can play basketball, soccer, volleyball and more.
