The Delhi chief minister is the subject of allegations of vendetta politics from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), but the investigation agency asserted that it had evidence against him on which to base the summons. According to a chargesheet recently submitted by the Enforcement Directorate, Arvind Kejriwal communicated with Sameer Mahendru, a liquor industry executive and the primary suspect in the excise policy fraud, over FaceTime and urged him to believe the party's in-charge of communications Vijay Nair.
