PCOS / PCOD is one of the most common causes of female infertility. But you can get pregnant with PCOS / PCOD. Patient is likely to be overweight. 2. Periods are irregular in PCOS. 3. Pimples are also likely to occur. 4. Unwanted hair is also likely to appear on the face and body. 5. Ovaries appear large and many eggs are visible in them. Types of PCOS/PCOD: 1. Obese PCOS - When the patient's weight becomes more than the normal level. 2. Lean PCOS - When the patient is thin. Causes of PCOS: The biggest reason is that there is more production of male hormones in them, that is, male androgenic activity is more, that is why the symptoms mentioned above are seen. Along with all this, the egg which should be large, ovulation does not happen and due to this conception does not happen and hence the menstruation which happens in the next 14 days also does not happen. Can I get Pregnant with PCOS? When the weight is more, then with the help of diet and exercise, 10% of your weight will be reduced. After this, when the periods normal cycle becomes regular, then it is easy to conceive and it can also be conceived naturally. If this is not possible, then the patient will have to consult the doctor and take ovulation inducing drugs (drugs to produce eggs) and injections for rupture. After this process, the doctor will advise you to continue intercourse. If all the functions in the body are correct and the number of sperms of your husband is good, then there is no problem in conceiving. When this timed intercourse fails 2-3 times, then the doctor advises you to do IUI. When IUI also fails, then the doctor can advise you to do IVF or Laparoscopy. IVF is the last option in PCOS, when simple treatment i.e. weight modification, timed intercourse, IUI, laparoscopic ovarian drilling does not give success, then the doctor will definitely ask you to go for IVF.
