Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io. The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes? Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. His main goal is to gain approval to date Girlfriend, but he must sing off against her evil ex-rockstar father, Daddy Dearest, as well as the many other characters that stand in his way. Girlfriend, alternatively referred to as the Girlfriend, is the deuteragonist of Friday Night Funkin'. She is Boyfriend's partner and the daughter of Daddy Dearest and Mommy Mearest. She is usually seen sitting on top of speakers, bopping her head to the tempo of the music, cheering Boyfriend on and keeping track of combos. While not necessarily an antagonist, she is the first opponent faced by Boyfriend, and she teaches the player how to play the game with her only track, Tutorial. Deimos is the tritagonist of the Madness Combat series who first appeared alongside Sanford in Madness Depredation. He has a bandaged head, wears a headset and visor, and has been seen wearing a vest with a white tank top underneath. His first chronological appearance in the series is in Madness Combat 5: Depredation. He appeared again in Madness Combat 5.5 as one of the protagonists. Deimos makes his last appearance alive so far in DedmosRebuilt.fla, the final part of the canonical spin-off series, Dedmos Adventure. Deimos carries Hank's body for most of Aggregation And is also the one who resurrects him. It is hinted that he, Hank, and Sanford are part of some Anti-A.A.H.W. or Anti-Auditor rebel organization, for he is seen talking through his headset to an as-yet-unidentified person. The fact that they belong to their organization would explain why they didn't properly assist Hank in fighting Tricky in Madness Depredation, as they might have been going for another objective. As we see in Madness Combat 5.5 they have other business to deal with than helping Hank, though no proper goal seems to appear in either this episode or its sequel, Madness Combat 6.5. Pico's School (also referred to as Pico 1) is a point-and-click game created by Tom Fulp and released on July 25, 1999. Made in Flash 3, it acts as the third entry in the Pico franchise, and is the first installment in the series to feature Pico, who has since become one of Newgrounds' mascots.
