Questions persist about circumstances of police shooting that killed man in Irving Park

Chicago Police Supt. David Brown said hours after the shooting early Wednesday morning that the man – 21-year-old Isidro Valverde – had fired shots during the confrontation. But the Civilian Office of Police Accountability later said it was not certain whether Valverde fired shots.
