The 1995 Guinness Multimedia Disc Of Records (Video Clips Only)
In 1995,my family purchased our first ever computer. It was a Packard Bell with a bunch of bundled software classics on CD-ROM including Silent Steel,My First Encyclopedia & The 1995 Guiness Multimedia Disc Of Records A lot has changed in computing and software since then,leading to the advent of emulation and virtual machines such as VMWare to attempt to bring these classics to life if you're looking for a nostalga trip on a more modern OS. But there's still no guarantee they'll work properly even if you have the original discs. In lieu of tracking down the original Guinness Disc,i recently discovered the ISO File on The Internet Archive and viewed the videos of which i was a fan at 8 years old. It'll never cease to amaze me how far technology has progressed in terms of full-motion video and video quality,a beautiful contrast of where it was then and what it's capable now Only having the clips themselves to go off of,here's a partial list of what's included.
