Lego 6684 - Police Patrol Squad - Classic Town - Retro Build

The Police Patrol Squad is a 65 part set released in 1984 as a replacement for the 6681 Police Van. Content-wise this set is an update of the 644 Police Mobile Patrol from 1978, as it contains a patrol van and a motorcycle. With two mini-figures and a number of special parts, this set represented pretty good value for money. It was of a trend towards larger piece counts that continued across most of the Lego range during the mid-eighties.
