Last ND Guardsman Returns from Iraq

Staff Sgt. Teresa Pavljuk returned home from a nine-month deployment to Iraq on Dec. 21, 2011. Gov. Jack Dalyrmple, Maj. Gen. David Sprynczynatyk and members of the community, American Legion and North Dakota Patriot Guard were at Fargo's Hector International Airport to welcome her home. She is the last of about 2,000 North Dakota National Guard members to have served in the war in Iraq since 2003. Read Staff Sgt.
