My cover is based on the arrangement of Barry White’s 1978 version. I created the style from a MIDI file using Yamaha’s software “MIDI Song to Style,” developing all the sections: Intro, Variation, Fill, and Out. Compared to the original, I wanted to add some rhythm guitar parts to give the groove a richer and more sustained feel. All the sounds used in the style are factory presets. For the solo part, I chose the excellent “SmoothTenorSax” (S.Art2) tone, which, thanks to its articulations, allows for very natural and expressive performances. For the left hand, I used the beautiful electric piano “70sSuitcasePan,” which colors and supports the harmonic section. Ho creato lo style da un midifle, usando il software di Yamaha “MIDI Song to Style”, sviluppando tutte le sezioni Intro, Variation, Fill e Out. Rispetto all’originale, ho voluto aggiungere delle parti di chitarra ritmica per avere un “groove” più ricco e sostenuto. Tutti i suoni utilizzati nello Style sono di fabbrica. Per la parte solista ho scelto l’ottimo timbro “SmoothTenorSax” (S.Art2) che grazie alle sue articolazioni, consente di ottenere esecuzioni molto naturali ed espressive, mentre per la mano sinistra ho usato il bellissimo Piano Elettrico “70sSuitcasePan” che colora e sostiene la sezione armonica.
