The foundation of grace is forgiveness. The moment we loose sight of forgiveness, we loose sight of grace. Sometimes we do not feel loved by God because we do not take into account what God has done for us, but if we become aware that the blood of goats or even human sacrifice of loved ones can not be enough to take our away our sins, then we are able to see and accept the grace of God.
