This week on the COVID-19 Series we welcomed back Dr Jenny Harries, chief executive of the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and former Deputy Chief Medical Officer. The newly-formed UKHSA, which replaces Public Health England and is part of the Department of Health and Social Care, is now responsible for planning, preventing and responding to external health threats, ensuring the nation can respond quickly and effectively to pandemics and future health threats. Dr Jenny Harries was interviewed by Professor Sir Simon Wessely.
