Title: The Forest Developer: Endnight Games Ltd Publisher: Endnight Games Ltd Reviewed On: PC The Forest is a survival horror game where you crashland on an island for reasons unknown and have to find your son Timmy(?) while fighting off cannibals that have lived there for years, while fighting off multi armed demons. Or you can be a fucking lumberjack, and that's what I chose to do. Because I'm a lumberjack, and that's okay. The biggest annoyance in The Forest is probably resource gathering. While hacking down trees is fun, you have to get A TON of logs for a simple cabin. I did the math on this in the last description I typed up, which was somewhere between roughly 27 to 21 trees have to be cut down before you can finish building the cabin, which is about 2 to 3 in game days. Combat's a bit slow, but axe hits feel satisfying, especially when a cannibal is on the ground and needs to be finished off. It's an alright game, and the multiplayer makes it MUCH better. I'd say pick it up during a Steam sale. The intro and explanation music comes from the site BenSound. You can find more royalty free music here: https://www.bensound.com/royalty-free...
