We are off to Cornwall in this workshop, well at least in our imaginations. The scene for today's painting is looking across at an imaginary little cove in Cornwall called Misty Cove. It's a lovely place to visit, quiet, secluded, in fact just perfect for us artists. It's early morning, the cove is shrouded in mist. See how powerful a story is! - you're already there! This workshop is all about utilising a weather effect that is perfect to eliminate the need to over-detail our work. We do this by shrouding the whole scene in mist. This is a great way of covering over bits that you’re not too sure about or just as a great way to set the scene and add bags of atmosphere to your painting. You will also learn quite a bit about the very important subject of connection in your paintings.
