Malay lyrics by Rudy Djoe. Kenchana Jazz is a quartet based in Singapore, composed of musicians from diverse musical backgrounds. The band performs a blend of Western jazz and pop standards, as well as fusions of jazz with traditional Malay and Indonesian influences. Their goal is to preserve and reconnect audiences with the timeless classics of the Archipelago. "Kenchana" translates to "gold" in Malay.
