I'm Tired Of Tacos So I Had To Switch It Up | Weeknight Dinner Ideas | Meals For Working Moms

Hey guys! Yep! You read it right. I'm so tired of tacos but it's literally the only weeknight meal that my folks won't complain about, so I keep it in heavy rotation. Today, I decided to give them a twist and kept my fingers crossed that it wouldn't blow up in my face. To my surprise, most ate it without any complaints (you know there is always somebody that isn't happy though.) What I like about this homestyle burrito is the versatility. Use this as a blueprint and make it your own. I mis-spoke and said I was using sirloin but this is actually beef tri-tips. I had never heard of this cut of meat until I started receiving it in my Butcher Box and since then, it's become a favorite cut of mines. If you can't find it use beef sirloin, thinly sliced and cut against the grain. I guess that's enough said, now go get cooking. Dry Seasoning Blend For Beef 1/2 tbsp chile lime seasoning blend (trader joe's) 1/8 tsp ground cardamon 1/4 tsp fennel seed (whole) 1&1/2 tbsp chopped cilantro (fresh) 1/2 tbsp kosher salt 1 tsp ground black pepper Liquid Seasoning 1/4 cup coconut aminos 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce 1/4 cup EVOO For The Beans 1/2 can (5 oz) of beef consomme 5 oz of water 3-4 medium bay leaves 2 cans of black beans a little pepper and cumin to jazz it up ***tip***mash some of the beans up in the liquid. That helps to form that thick consistency that you would get from cooking the beans low and slow for a long time. _______________________________________________________________________ Subscribe to the channel:    / shaeskitchen   Get Social With Me Instagram:   / shaescountrykitchen   Facebook:   / shaescountrykitchen   Get $30 Off Your First Order using my Butcher Box Link: http://fbuy.me/osMPB If you decide to use it, I will also receive $30 off About Me Hello friends! Thank you for showing me love and stopping by my channel! My name is RaShae Lyle but everyone knows me as Shae. I'm a Christian, wife, mother, and cook. My love for cooking was sparked as a child watching my grandmother and mother cook southern classics. I spent many hours watching and asking basic questions before I started cooking full on meals at the young age of 11. Since then, it has become my passion to cook and bake for others and eventually my own family. I truly believe in the power of a good cooked meal and the many memories and conversations that can occur around the dining table. On this channel, my goal is to provide easy and delicious dinner ideas that will help other working moms feed their families with ease. Also, my dream is to help others learn the necessary cooking skills, that for some reason aren't being passed down to upcoming generations. I would love for each of you to become part of my community and subscribe to the channel.
