Developed by Ubisoft, it was released on October 12, 2023, for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Epic Games Store, and Amazon Luna. The game is set in Baghdad during the Abbasid Caliphate and focuses on stealth, parkour, and assassinations, returning to the roots of the series by reducing RPG elements. Story The protagonist is named Basim Ibn Ishaq, a thief who later becomes an Assassin. The game's events take place between the years 860 and 870 CE in Baghdad during the Abbasid era. Gameplay The game's story, excluding side quests, will be 15-20 hours long. The story will also be linear like previous installments. The game is set in Baghdad and is divided into four regions. Players will also visit Alamut Castle. This installment features many weapons like knives, smoke bombs, and the signature hidden blade.
