Imagine: Gen 5

Imagine you had access To all the Pokemon (using both versions of course. No more unobtainable Pokemon, and I see no reason why we can't have, say, Pidgey, Hoothoot, Taillow, Starly AND a new bird all available in the grass. Will add so much variety rather than being stuck to one of them.) Imagine that the main game Lasted a little long (Expand on the 8 gym and Elite 4 formula. How about 12 gyms? This way with the Elite 4 and Champion, all 17 types will be covered. And add more towns without gyms, so finding a town with a gym can feel special and the main story will last longer). Imagine the Poison type Can hit more than Grass (Poison only super effective against grass? Rubbish! Especially when there are so many Poison types, AND when a lot of Grass types are part Poison making this pointless. Why can't it be super effective against Water? There are a lot of water types out there, and water only has two weaknesses. It can "pollute" water). Imagine that in the caves You never met Zubat (and Geodude, and Machop, and Tentacool in the water...) Imagine there's no HMs Instead we use attacks (Cut, Defog, Flash, Whirlpool etc should be gone. Why can't I cut the tree down with Slash? Why can't I light the cave with Ember? Making a space or two in your party for a HM slave should go). Imagine that the battles Were more than turn based (At least some timing can be added maybe. Not exactly like Smash Bros. but maybe like the Mario & Luigi games? This one's not necessary). You may say that I'm Gary But I'm not an idiot (lol) If there's a change in Gen 5 Pokemon will stay alive! (...It will either way) Imagine that the Ice type Resisted more than Ice (Ice Beam = AWESOME. Ice Pokemon, not so much! They only resist Ice! Why can't they resist Flying aswell (the wings touching Ice = frozen?) Or at least Dragon or something! Customise your player Now wouldn't that be nice? (With Wi-Fi becoming huge, we should at least be able to pick the colour of his/her clothes, and add accessory. Maybe even edit the face a bit, Mii style?) Imagine less Water types and more Fire types (Only a starter, a legendary, and an evolution was added in Gen 4! Yet there are MANY water types added each time! More balance will be nice. We need two new fire families at least not including the possible starter). You may say I'm a Dunsparce I need an evolution (Poor thing...) I hope Game Freak will listen And I will be remembered! ("Who is Dunsparce again?!" I hear you ask. For shame!) Other things they could consider are create your own gym and own badge using your stylus, then have people challenge you over Wi-Fi. How cool would it be collecting custom made badges? Possibly using the DSi camera to add your face to your trainer card. A possible new type. Multiplayer where you can travel with a friend around the town at the same time. Imagine a co-op mode where you can play through the adventure with a friend, taking turns battling people and doing double battles together. What would YOU add or take away? What are you hoping for?
