Making "The Hole World" 3D Cold Process Soap

A whole world of beautiful soap possibilities opens up with this new 3D soap design. A hole is cut in a bar of freshly made cold process soap, then a 3D scene is inserted into the hole using soap shavings. The shavings make cool veneers and act like soap stickers -they are easily applied to fresh soap. The veneers can also be cut using shaped cutters or formed into the shape of flowers, pots, paper airplanes, napkins, lakes, trees or anything else you can imagine. Clear melt and pour soap can be poured int the holes to protect the art or add different effects. The holes can be cut in any shape to fit any design you can imagine. In this video, bars of soap are made in preparation for the art. Subsequent videos show how the hole soaps are cut and the techniques used to make beautiful scenes.
