Bobby Vinton - L-O-N-E-L-Y (1965)
Charted at #22 on Billboard Hot 100 in July 1965 and #7 on Billboard Adult Contemporary chart. After "Mr. Lonely" became a success, Vinton released a series of singles with the word "lonely" in the title. The second was "Long And Lonely Nights", and this was the third. The fourth was "Theme from Harlow (Lonely Girl)". Original Billboard review: "Clever lyric, strong ballad written by Vinton and a perfect follow-up to his "Lonely Nights" hit."
